The visual stylist intern will gain hands on experience executing visual presentations and learning from the dedicated people who bring the Nordstrom experience to life. The 2013 internship program will be approximately a 9 week program starting at the beginning of June.

Responsibilities
Able to visualize and execute visual merchandising concepts with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate an enthusiasm for styling and knowledge of current fashion trends
Implement current visual presentation standards
Partner with store and visual merchandising manager to implement short- and long-term plans for the overall store presentation
Ensure high quality of all visual aspects of the store
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and understand and meet deadlines


Qualifications
Experience or education in retail visual merchandising
Enthusiasm for fashion and knowledge of current fashion trends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Enrolled in an accredited institution
College junior or senior graduating in 2013 or 2014
